Easter egg dyeing

As I mentioned last week, my international students spent a class dyeing Easter eggs.  Most of them had never done it before, so it was fun to watch them experiment with different designs and colors.  I think all but two of the boys probably has ADHD (or am I confusing that with junior high?), so it was a challenge to get them all focused on a task and not wandering around asking to use the computers and trying to climb out the office windows (for real).

Yerkezhan (Kazakhstan), Linda and Min (Korea), Neil (Texas), Bella (Korea), and Jess (UK) show off their eggs

I caught Timo (Germany) making a swastika egg and made him change his design. The result? A window.

Neil with Joe and Justin, from Korea. Koreans love big black glasses frames like you can see above. They think the big glasses make their faces look smaller. ??

Aisha's egg. She's a practicing Kazakh Muslim, so she can't allow her face to be photographed.
