It’s harvest party time!

Billy & Wendy, my former students and 2007 Harvest Party costume winners (which may or may not be because they were two of the few who actually wore costumes)

If you’re going to be in the neighborhood next week we invite you to stop by three of Beijing’s best harvest parties!  We’ll be having our parties Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday evenings – one at the branch school, and then a junior high party, followed by the senior high on the last night.  There will be all kinds of games, face painting, candy, prizes, jack-o-lanterns, and crazy costumes so stop on by.

Then if you’re still up for it, we’re going bowling on the 31st in costume so come on out with your alter ego and join the fun.  Last time we went costume bowling we couldn’t get a taxi to pick up a bunch of ridiculously-dressed foreigners so we got our exercise in and walked all the way to the Jade Palace Hotel.

I apologize for the funky formatting.  The WordPress site isn’t China friendly and is a little difficult to work with here.  Here are some pictures from years past:

  1. Ah, I remember being the princess and the pea with my little man. He was tiny then! 🙂
