Typhoon Morakot

Some undersea fiber optic cables that carry the Internet to China and other parts of Asia were damaged in Typhoon Morakot as it blew past Taiwan. Our internet has been spotty and unreliable since then, but they hope to have it fixed by the middle of September.

  1. Yep, been there before (see http://www.sunstar.com.ph/static/net/2006/12/28/communications.cut.off.after.earthquake.strikes.taiwan.html ). My sympathies. Hope they get it fixed soon
